Enka Comedian 'Kazeno Syoma' Appointed as Takasago City Support Ambassador!

Kazeno Syoma, an enka comedian belonging to 'DICT Agency'—a talent agency operated by Virgo Inc., which spun out from the social experiment community 'DICT'—has been appointed as the Support Ambassador for his hometown, Takasago City, Hyogo Prefecture. The inauguration ceremony was held on May 23 at the 'Oshigoto Hakken Festa 2026' at the Takasago City General Gymnasium. In the presence of Mayor Tatsuyoshi Tokura and others, the certificate of appointment was presented by the Chairman of the Takasago City Tourism and Exchange Bureau. Born in 2000, Kazeno Syoma gained recognition by winning the 'High School Manzai 2017' competition. He later transitioned into an enka singer and adopted his current stage name in 2024. He is currently active as a radio personality and performer. Takasago City is recognized as a Japan Heritage site for its history as a port of call for the Kitamaebune ships and features numerous historic sites such as Oishi Shrine and Arai Shrine. Prior to the ceremony, he paid courtesy visits to Mayor Tokura and City Council Chairman Hiroaki Kawabata to discuss regional revitalization. He expressed his enthusiasm, stating, 'I am happy to have the opportunity to give back to Takasago, the city that raised me. I will do my best to share its charm with as many people as possible.'
