Legalscape Inc. (Headquarters: Bunkyo-ku, Tokyo, President & CEO: Itsuki Yagita, hereinafter "Legalscape") has launched a "Link Sharing Function" on its legal research platform "Legalscape" that allows users to share AI research results with members of their organization in URL format. This feature will streamline legal research and information sharing within teams.
Background
Legal departments and law firms widely conduct business while reviewing and discussing research content as a team. Users have consistently requested the ability to "show their research results directly to the team."
To meet these collaborative needs, we decided to provide this function in a "link sharing" format that can be used seamlessly without altering the existing user experience.
Feature Details
The main specifications of the "Link Sharing Function" now being offered are as follows:
Issuing Sharing Links: A "Generate Sharing Link" button has been added to any research result screen. Clicking this button generates a dedicated URL that can be shared via any tool such as Slack, email, or Notion.
Scope of Viewing Permissions: Only members belonging to the same organization as the user who shared the link can view it.
Deleting and Reissuing Links: Sharing links can be deleted at any time. After deletion, access via that URL will be invalidated.
Handling of Follow-up Questions: When the sharer asks additional questions related to the research, the content at the shared link will also be updated.
Usage Restrictions for Viewers: Recipients of the link can view reference materials and navigate to related pages, but they cannot ask additional questions.
How to Use
Display the research results on "Legalscape."
Click the "Generate Sharing Link" button on the screen to obtain a dedicated URL.
Share the obtained URL with team members via any method such as Slack, email, or Notion.
Members who receive the link click the URL to view the research results.
