Yokosuka Bilingual School to Host 'YBS Elementary OPEN HOUSE 2026' Starting June 14

Yokosuka Bilingual School (Operated by LaLaLand Education Co., Ltd.; HQ: Yokosuka, Kanagawa; Representative Director: Fumi Inoue; hereinafter 'YBS') will hold three sessions of its 'YBS Elementary OPEN HOUSE 2026' between June and July 2026, targeting families with children from Kindergarten (age 5) to Grade 5 (age 11) based on the American grade system. This event is designed for families seeking bilingual education that focuses on small class sizes and individual attention. This Open House provides an opportunity to experience the school's warm community firsthand and to learn about the educational environment updates resulting from the new partnership with the 100-year-old Kanagawa Dental University.

YBS is an international school providing seamless Japanese-English bilingual education for children aged 0 to 15. Located in Yokosuka, which hosts a U.S. military base and is home to approximately 20,000 foreigners, YBS operates in a unique environment. Since its establishment in 2013, it became a Cambridge International certified school in 2022 and has led international education in Yokosuka for over a decade.

The school is built on a multicultural foundation where students can learn alongside foreign children daily, as if studying abroad while remaining in Japan. Furthermore, it practices inquiry-based learning utilizing Yokosuka's rich regional environment, such as agriculture and art festivals. Graduates have achieved significant results, including admission to prestigious overseas boarding schools and awards in national U.S. selection programs. Since February 2026, the school has partnered with a dental university with a 100-year history to realize an even higher standard of educational environment.

Each 90-minute session will introduce YBS's unique small-class bilingual education, the Cambridge-certified world-class curriculum, and the achievements of graduates. In-person sessions will be held on June 14, June 26, and July 17.
