(Headquarters: Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; Representative Director: Moriya Koda; hereinafter "KohMori") participated in the opening ceremony and presented a sponsor award at the annual American football game between its sponsored teams, the International Christian University American Football Club Apostles (hereinafter "Apostles") and the Tokyo University of Foreign Studies American Football Club Phantoms (hereinafter "Phantoms").

Event Details

On Sunday, June 14, 2026, the annual American football game between the two universities was held at the TUFS Fuchu Ground.

Prior to the game, the opening ceremony featured an exchange of pennants between the presidents of both universities. Following this, KohMori's Representative Director, Moriya Koda, took the stage to deliver a speech to the players.

The game was an intense, closely contested match, with the International Christian University Apostles emerging victorious with a final score of 41 to 30. After the game, coaches and team captains from both teams delivered closing remarks and MVP awards were presented. This was followed by KohMori presenting its sponsor award. The ceremony concluded with a commemorative group photo with the players.

The annual game between ICU and TUFS is a long-standing friendly match that has been held for many years, marking its 14th edition this year. It is held every June and attracts students, alumni, and fans.

Purpose of the Initiative

KohMori operates a "Sports Support Program" aimed at supporting athletes and sports teams, both students and professionals.
