Gotcha Gotcha Games, a KADOKAWA Group company, announced that the Nintendo Switch version of the fixed-screen 2D action game Maker Series: Magical Shot: The Attack Bump☆ has resumed distribution today, May 14, 2026. The Steam version remains available. The game is a stage-clear action title built around the distinctive mechanic of pushing enemies into walls. Players hit enemies with Magical Shots, knocking them into walls or stage gimmicks to defeat them. After all enemies are defeated and five seconds pass, the stage is cleared. The game features 100 stages, including boss stages, and allows unlimited continues. Players must read each stage’s gimmicks and enemy movements, switching between active play and precise tactics. While the controls are simple, the game offers depth through different approaches based on positioning and movement. The story follows Vanilla, a hungry protagonist who wants to buy cake but has no money. After being teased by her childhood friend Chocolat, she sets out on an adventure to collect ingredients and make a cake herself. The story progresses through cute illustrations, and each area ends with a boss battle where careful observation is key. Even difficult stages can be retried as many times as needed, and players may discover special information the more they play. To celebrate the Nintendo Switch relaunch, Gotcha Gotcha Games is holding a Follow & Repost giveaway campaign on X. Users who follow the official Act Game Maker information account (@PGMMV_jp) and repost the eligible post will be entered into a lottery for one of 10 download codes for either the Nintendo Switch or Steam version. The game is a fixed-screen top-down 2D action title for Nintendo Switch and Steam, priced at 550 yen including tax. It was developed by Azuma Project and published by Gotcha Gotcha Games.
