Last Origin Marks Six Years in Japan With Anniversary Update and 4th Miss Orca Japan Voting Event

G・O・P Co., Ltd. announced that it released a sixth-anniversary update for the Japan service of the next-generation bishoujo strategy RPG Last Origin on May 14, 2026. The game is available on the App Store, Google Play, and DMM GAMES. The update includes an anniversary story event, new skins for characters who won last year’s Korean Miss Orca event, limited-time skin sales, a sixth-anniversary login event, and more. The popular voting event “4th Miss Orca Japan,” in which players decide which favorite combatants will receive new skins, is scheduled to begin on May 16. The limited-time sixth-anniversary story event “Top Secret Operation: Heart-Pounding Love Schedule” is now available. The event consists of eight main story stages and four high-difficulty EX stages. By playing the event, players can obtain the item “Date Operation Plan” and exchange it for valuable rewards including Kunoichi Shiden, Eternity, Warg, Oath Ring, Special Substitute Core, and Commander’s Diary. The event runs from after maintenance on May 14, 2026, until before maintenance on June 11, 2026. Three special skins have been added for combatants selected in the 2025 Korean Miss Orca event. Each skin includes Live2D animation, damaged artwork, and a dedicated music track. The new skins are Speedy Khan “Crush On You” for 302 Tuna Cans, Lemonade Gamma “CAFÉ Poseidon Limited Menu” for 327 Tuna Cans, and Lemonade Epsilon “Your Universe, My Space” for 352 Tuna Cans. A limited-time sale is also being held for existing Miss Orca skins at roughly 20% off until the next maintenance. Eligible skins include Alcyone, Fafnir, Lemonade Beta, and Chona. In addition, a sixth-anniversary Tuna Can sale package is available: instead of the usual 429 Tuna Cans for 7,600 yen, players can purchase 555 Tuna Cans, consisting of 354 paid and 201 free cans. The package can be purchased up to three times per person and is available from after maintenance on May 14 until before maintenance on June 11. The sixth-anniversary login event runs from 9:00 a.m. on May 15 to 8:59 a.m. on June 11, 2026. Players can receive daily resources and materials such as 6,000 resources, 60 advanced modules, six gene seeds, and six rapid completion circuits. The event also offers sixth-anniversary tickets, limited-availability combatants such as Dione, English Shepherd, and Kunoichi Shiden, and many other useful rare items. By collecting 20 sixth-anniversary skin tickets, players can exchange them for one of Vanilla A1’s sixth-anniversary skins, choosing either the daytime or nighttime version. Other additions include a growth support campaign that boosts combatant drop rates, item drop rates, and experience gained by 100%, as well as new side stories for Speedy Khan, Lemonade Gamma, and Lemonade Epsilon. The Japanese version’s popularity voting event, “4th Miss Orca Japan,” will begin at 9:00 a.m. on May 16, 2026. Eligible characters from the Japanese version, with some exceptions, will be voted on in two stages: preliminaries and finals. In the preliminaries, the top five characters from each of four groups, A through D, will advance, for a total of 20 finalists. Final rankings will then be decided through the final vote. Characters placing in the top three in the finals are guaranteed to receive new Miss Orca skins. Players can vote for their favorite combatants using voting tickets obtained from daily quest rewards or the in-game exchange. This time, the player who casts the most votes for each character will receive a special reward effect displayed in the in-game encyclopedia. Separate effects are prepared for the preliminary and final rounds, and if the same player casts the most votes in both rounds, the effects will combine into a more luxurious version. The effect will remain until the next Miss Orca event. Last Origin is a next-generation strategy RPG that combines bishoujo characters with tactical gameplay.
