FCC Techno Restarts Tokyo Office, Accelerating Growth Strategy in the AI Era

FCC Techno Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Fukuoka City, Fukuoka Prefecture; CEO: Shusei Nishimura; hereinafter "FCC") is pleased to announce the reopening of its "Tokyo Office" in Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, effective June 1, 2026. Founded in 1962 as a Fukuoka-based IT venture, the company began its business with contract computing using large-scale computers. Now, over 60 years later, we are in our second founding phase, having refreshed our management team in 2021 with leaders primarily in their 30s. We currently provide open-system and web-based development, DX consulting, and cloud-based development, with extensive experience in system development for major corporations and deep knowledge of energy sectors such as gas. With this business restructuring, we have decided to reopen our Tokyo base, which had been suspended, as part of our efforts to strengthen our organizational structure in line with business expansion. This office will serve as a hub for sales activities in the Kanto region, as well as for various operations and project promotion. The Tokyo office plans to focus on the following initiatives: Rebuilding a hub connecting local regions and Tokyo: Leveraging the on-site capabilities cultivated in Fukuoka and Kyushu, we will strengthen connections with major corporations, financial institutions, and specialized talent in Tokyo to create new value. Execution of redefining contract development in the AI era: We will build the "FDE system," which provides end-to-end support from business design and AI utilization to operational improvement, to promote more essential business support. Comment from Representative Shusei Nishimura: We have decided to re-establish our Tokyo office for the first time in about five years. For 40 years, since the days of the former Fukuoka Electronic Computing Center, we have been involved in the development, operation, and maintenance of core systems and sales management systems for oil and LPG-related energy operators. On the other hand, to respond to changes in the times and technological innovation, we began business restructuring, including moving away from host computers, in 2021. During this restructuring, we closed our Tokyo base once, but now that we have made progress in our restructuring and to keep up with changes in the SI and BPO markets due to the rapid development of generative AI, we have decided to establish a base in Tokyo again. Moving forward, we will further strengthen our contact points with customers and partner companies in the metropolitan area, and by connecting the on-site execution capabilities cultivated at our Fukuoka headquarters with the information, talent, and business opportunities accumulated in Tokyo, we will further enhance the value we provide. We will not return to the same form as the closed base, but as the "New FCC Techno" that has undergone restructuring since 2021, we will face the challenge of improving your corporate value.
