Doshin EC Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Seiji Teramachi; hereinafter 'Doshin EC') will host the Nintendo Super Mario-themed event 'Super Mario: RUN TO THE GOAL in Hokkaido 2026' on Sunday, September 13, 2026, at Daiwa House Premist Dome (Sapporo Dome).

This participatory event offers more than just running—it includes photo spots, mini-game experiences, original merchandise sales, and food zones, making it enjoyable for all. Previously held in regions such as Taiwan and Hong Kong by local organizers, this event has been designed to attract visitors from Hokkaido, across Japan, and internationally, offering engaging content for children and adults alike.

In addition, prior to the main event, the 'Sapporo Walk Rally' will begin on Saturday, July 18, 2026, inviting participants to explore key locations across Sapporo City.

【Event Details】

This event is a participatory run where attendees wear original Super Mario merchandise distributed as participant perks and enjoy running through a decorated course inside the venue. Photo spots are set up along the course, allowing friends to take commemorative photos, while families and groups can chat and run at their own pace with background music enhancing the atmosphere. With a course length of approximately 2.5 km, it is accessible and enjoyable even for beginners or those who rarely exercise.

The running course spans the exterior and interior of the Daiwa House Premist Dome (Sapporo Dome), totaling approximately 2.5 km. Multiple photo spots featuring Mario and friends will be placed throughout the course, enabling participants to capture memorable photos with family and friends.

【Runner Participation Perks】

The official T-shirt (in cooperation with UNIQLO), distributed as a runner participation perk, features the iconic 'Goal Pole' from the games on the back. As participants run together toward the finish line, they can experience the unique unity and excitement that only this event can offer.

Additionally, exclusive event-only perks include an official towel featuring the course design (in cooperation with Mizuno), original cap, original backpack, finisher medal, and race bib.

【On-site Activities】

Non-running attendees can also enter the venue by purchasing an admission ticket. The venue will feature original merchandise sales, the 'Enjoy Corner with Super Mario,' food zones, and a Nintendo Switch 2 game experience corner—offering fun content for all ages, from children to adults.

Original Merchandise Sales

Exclusive, event-limited original merchandise for 'Super Mario: RUN TO THE GOAL in Hokkaido 2026' will be available. Items include decorative souvenirs for home display and practical daily-use goods. Product details will be announced later on the official website.

Enjoy Corner with Super Mario

A mini-game zone will offer classic carnival games such as target throwing, ring toss, yo-yo fishing, and an original tote bag craft corner (participation fee: ¥500 per game, ¥2,000 for tote bag crafting). Designed for young children and families, this area ensures fun for all.

Food Zone

Food trucks will be on-site, including DANNY CHURROS offering original churros and Matsuo Jingisukan serving Hokkaido’s famous grilled mutton. Attendees can enjoy local Hokkaido cuisine alongside the running and on-site activities.

Nintendo Switch 2 Game Experience Zone

A hands-on experience zone for upcoming Nintendo Switch™ 2 game software will be available on-site. Details of the playable titles will be announced later on the official website.

【Sapporo Walk Rally Begins July 18 (Sat)】

To commemorate the event, the 'Sapporo Walk Rally' will be held from Saturday, July 18, 2026, inviting participants to explore famous spots across Sapporo City. Participants purchase a rally sheet and complete Super Mario-themed quizzes while visiting designated locations.

Those who complete all checkpoints and quizzes will receive a 'Sapporo Walk Rally Participation Commemorative Star Coin.' This initiative allows visitors to enjoy the charm of Super Mario alongside the sights of Sapporo before the main run event.
