Product Overview | Fragrant "Butsuryu-shu FROM TO" embodying the value of logistics

The product name "Butsuryu-shu FROM TO" means "from (sender)" to "to (recipient)." It was planned with the aim of becoming a craft sake that embodies "distribution," which plays the role of connecting the sender and recipient, that is, the producer and consumer.

Craft sake, unlike traditional sake brewed only from rice and rice koji, refers to sake brewed with secondary ingredients such as herbs and spices in addition to rice. "Butsuryu-shu FROM TO" is a craft sake brewed by LINNÉ, a fermentation collective that expands food culture through sake brewing, using Yamada Nishiki, Kinuhikari, and hie (barnyard millet) koji made from hie cultivated by "Shinpaku," which is engaged in agricultural regeneration.

"Butsuryu-shu FROM TO" is characterized by a refreshing aroma reminiscent of herbs and a fresh, savory taste derived from white koji and hie, with a delicate, cloudy texture and the umami of Yamada Nishiki intertwining, leaving a pleasant aftertaste. It pairs well with Western dishes such as white fish carpaccio and burrata cheese, or Japanese dishes that enjoy aroma and bitterness, such as spring wild vegetable tempura and namero (chopped fish with seasonings) garnished with spices. Served chilled to room temperature, it accompanies a wide range of dishes, and when warmed (kanzake), the aroma of hie becomes richer, allowing it to be enjoyed like herbal tea.

From May 22, 2026, it can be purchased at CAPES' logistics select shop "Butsuryu Department Store" online store, POP UP events, and national retailers.
