BMSG Inc. (hereinafter referred to as BMSG) held its business conference 'Greeting & Gathering '26' (hereinafter referred to as G&G'26) on June 29, 2026, for affiliated companies and stakeholders. This year, the fourth since its inaugural event in 2023, BMSG declared its entry into its 'second founding period' after completing its first five years. With the goal of its 10th anniversary in 2030, the company unveiled a new slogan: 'BEYOND THE FIRST FIVE YEARS. BMSG Enters Its Second Founding Period.' Moving forward, BMSG will accelerate investment and innovation in three key areas: 'Music First,' 'Sustainable Entertainment Structure,' and 'Global Expansion.'

1. Realizing 'Music First': Nurturing All Talent – Artists, Producers, and Staff

BMSG has consistently discovered and nurtured diverse talents that defy conventional boundaries through audition programs such as 'THE FIRST' and 'No No Girls.' The company has established a robust foundation by integrating management, label operations, and creative functions, exemplified by the launch of its own label, 'Bullmoose Records,' and the establishment of 'BMSG Creative Lab,' an organization dedicated to realizing the creative vision of artists and producers in a seamless process. Furthermore, BMSG has consistently shown respect for not only artists but also staff as collaborators in the creative process, ensuring thorough credit attribution for music, music videos, and other works.

In the upcoming second founding period, BMSG aims to create an environment where artists can continue to express their talents authentically after their debut, supporting them with diverse experiences tailored to their individual interests. To foster the growth of even more talent, BMSG will strengthen its efforts to discover and cultivate the next generation of music producers over the next five years.

2. Towards the Future of Fans and Artists: Challenging a 'Sustainable Entertainment Structure' Through Continuous Exploration

BMSG has consistently challenged the status quo of the modern music industry, notably with its 'Proposal for a Sustainable Music Industry' announced in February 2024. In a pilot program for BE:FIRST's releases, the company abolished random inclusion of bonus items and switched to paper jackets, resulting in an approximate 10-ton reduction in plastic usage. Although CD sales decreased by about 70,000 units, total revenue nearly doubled, supported by fans' active engagement. This demonstrated the potential for a sustainable fan business model that balances environmental impact reduction with high profitability.

Over the next five years, BMSG will continue to explore optimal solutions for the complex balance between the pure enjoyment of 'oshi-katsu' (fan activities) as entertainment, the financial burden on fans, and environmental issues such as plastic reduction. As part of this initiative, BMSG will further strengthen its 'co-creation community' efforts within B-Town, a concept cherished since the company's inception. The aim is to establish a community that goes beyond one-way information dissemination from artists, allowing fans to feel more connected to BMSG's journey and experience a sense of shared progress.

Additionally, to support affiliated artists in building rich life plans as working professionals, BMSG will introduce a new asset building and life plan support program called 'Unseen Life Plan' (pronounced 'Anshin Life Plan'), in addition to existing training programs (compliance, etiquette, financial literacy, mental health). This initiative was decided upon by CEO SKY-HI, who, having witnessed numerous talents unable to fully pursue 'creative first' due to anxieties about their future in the volatile entertainment industry, felt compelled to minimize such risks and protect artists. The program includes a new company-supported asset building system where the company matches artist contributions (up to 100%, with limits) to support their financial independence. This aims to alleviate future financial concerns and create an environment where artists can fully immerse themselves in their creative activities.

3. From Japan to the World: Creating a 'J-POP Shelf' – First Overseas 'BMSG FES' by 2030

BMSG has been building a foundation for global expansion through overseas performances by its artists, participation in international festivals, and collaborations with global artists.

Over the next five years, while cherishing the strong foundation built with fans in Japan, BMSG will forge bridges to the global market. The company will increase investment in global-standard creative content and overseas expansion. By 2030, the 10th anniversary of its founding, BMSG will culminate its efforts with the first overseas staging of 'BMSG FES,' featuring all affiliated artists. This endeavor is not about leaving Japan behind but about demonstrating the excellence of Japanese entertainment to the world. BMSG aims to collaborate with stakeholders across the Japanese entertainment industry to jointly create a 'J-POP shelf' on the global stage, rather than solely focusing on its own international ventures.

Solid New Management Structure and Capital Alliance to Support the Second Founding Period

To support the challenges of the next five years, BMSG transitioned to a new management structure on March 11, 2026. Yutaka Shimizu was appointed COO, Koichi Kitagawa as an outside director, and Kayoko Yamato as auditor. To further enhance organizational integrity, a dedicated 'Risk Compliance Office' has been established directly under the COO.

Furthermore, BMSG has announced a capital alliance with Incubate Fund Inc. and Akatsuki Ventures Inc. as new partners to drive global expansion and strengthen its digital infrastructure. Leveraging the domestic and international networks and expertise of both companies, BMSG will accelerate its growth and global endeavors. The company will move forward with these powerful partnerships while maintaining its unique identity and 'creative first' philosophy. This alliance is not contingent on an IPO, and there are currently no plans for a public offering.

BMSG defines the present moment as the 'starting line for the next five years as challengers.' Upholding its mission 'To not kill talent,' BMSG will continue to expand the possibilities of Japanese entertainment by believing in the power of music and working alongside supportive fans, like-minded industry professionals, and all talents towards a future where everyone can shine 'Be My Self.'
