Callnote AI Phone Receptionist Launches at 1,480 Yen/Month, Ending Constant Phone Interruptions

Astructa Inc. (Shibuya, Tokyo; CEO Hiroshi Kobayashi) has launched Callnote, an AI phone auto-reception service that handles first-response for main business phone lines. When a call comes in, the AI answers automatically, records and transcribes the caller's message, summarizes it, assesses priority, and sends real-time notifications to Slack channels or email. Teams can stay focused without picking up the phone, processing call information asynchronously like messages or email.

Callnote requires a separate Twilio (US) account and phone number. The admin dashboard guides users through the entire setup including Twilio account linking, Japan regulatory bundle application, 050 number purchase, and webhook configuration, even for those with no prior Twilio experience.

The service targets startups, small businesses, and sole proprietors who need a public phone number but cannot staff a full-time phone desk. Key features include AI first-response, automatic transcription and summarization, Slack/email notifications, automatic priority classification with @mention alerts for urgent calls, team-shared call history, and an incoming call log. Three plans are available: Free (0 yen, 10 min/month, no overage), Starter (1,480 yen/month, 30 min, 15 yen/min overage), and Business (3,980 yen/month, 120 min, 10 yen/min overage). Twilio costs add approximately 750-950 yen/month for Starter users, bringing total cost to roughly 2,200-2,400 yen/month.
