This book candidly recounts the author's own life, from growing up in a poor family, to his high school baseball career, his time as a firefighter, and the setbacks of debt due to fraud, leading to his entrepreneurship.

Even When You Have "Stability," Life Can Fall Apart

The author was born and raised in a dilapidated tenement in Kadoma City, Osaka Prefecture. His father was a night-shift taxi driver, and his mother was repeatedly hospitalized due to mental illness. He grew up wondering, "Why is my family so poor?"

Baseball became a source of hope for the author. He achieved a spot in the Koshien tournament in high school baseball and later began a stable career as a public servant, a firefighter.

However, at the age of 21, he was a victim of fraud and incurred approximately 3 million yen in debt while earning a net income of 170,000 yen. Even as a "supposedly stable public servant," life can easily crumble without financial knowledge.

Having learned this reality firsthand, the author desperately studied and acted on side businesses, entrepreneurship, financial education, and asset building.
