U-NEXT Co., Ltd. (headquartered in Shinagawa-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Tenshin Tsutsumi), a company under USEN & U-NEXT GROUP, announces that its video streaming service 'U-NEXT' will exclusively stream Season 2 of the Sunday Theater drama 'VIVANT,' starring Masato Sakai, starting July 26, 2026. New episodes will be made available on U-NEXT immediately after their broadcast.

The long-awaited sequel begins right after the final scene of the previous season!

Three years after the first season aired in July 2023, this highly anticipated sequel picks up exactly where the previous season left off. Just after returning from a mission involving the international terrorist organization Tento, Noguchi Yūsuke (Masato Sakai) discovers a red manju placed at a shrine—an urgent signal calling his special unit back into action. What truly happened behind the scenes on the day Yūsuke shot his father and Tento's leader, Nogon Beki (Kōji Yakusho), and on the day he tearfully reunited and embraced Kaoru (Fumi Nikaidō) and Jamīn? The truth will be revealed in the first episode of Season 2.

The newly unveiled key visual (KV) for Season 2 features the vast sky and desert that define the show’s unique atmosphere. What lies ahead in the gaze of the character standing calmly on the sand? Discover the answer by watching the series.

Season 1, commentary versions, and audiobooks are also available
