KONA'S Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shibuya-ku, Tokyo; President: Kazutaka Abe), which operates the Hawaiian cafe and restaurant 'Kona's Coffee' under the concept of 'The closest Hawaii', aiming to provide inspiring food experiences, will hold the grand opening of 'KNOWS COFFEE Aeon Lake Town Outlet', the second store of its new brand 'KNOWS COFFEE', on Saturday, May 30, 2026. The store will be located in 'LAKESIDE DINING', a new area of Aeon Lake Town opening on the same day.

'KNOWS COFFEE' was born as a sister brand to 'Kona's Coffee', a Hawaiian cafe and restaurant with 55 locations nationwide. Since opening its first store in Tsudanuma, Chiba on March 18, 2026, it has been visited by a large number of customers, including patrons of 'Kona's Coffee' and local residents. In response to this positive reaction, the company decided to open the second store, 'KNOWS COFFEE Aeon Lake Town Outlet'.

While 'Kona's Coffee' has traditionally offered extraordinary inspiration as 'The closest Hawaii', primarily through roadside locations, 'KNOWS COFFEE' operates under the concept of 'The closest sunset'. It aims to provide a calm and relaxing time similar to a Hawaiian sunset, seamlessly integrated into daily life.

The new 'Aeon Lake Town Outlet store' is located in the new 'LAKESIDE DINING' area and features an open location facing Sakura Lake. Guests can enjoy a relaxing time by the lake, feeling the changing sky colors and breeze. The terrace seating allows guests to experience the brand's 'sunset time' concept while enjoying a pleasant breeze, and the interior is designed with large windows to create a space where nature feels close at hand.

Inside, the store will offer aromatic 100% Hawaii Kona coffee and pancakes carefully baked one by one at a lively 'Pancake Bar'. Guests are invited to enjoy their coffee and meals while taking in the changing scenery and relaxing at their own pace.

The cafe uses 100% extremely rare Hawaii Kona beans, grown exclusively in the Kona district on the west side of the Big Island. The most distinctive feature of 'KNOWS COFFEE' is that customers can choose not only the type of coffee but also the processing method. Guests can choose between the 'Washed Process', which offers a clean, pure taste, and the 'Natural Process', which highlights the inherent fruity flavors of the coffee.

While the 'Washed Process', where beans are fermented after the fruit is removed, is mainstream in the market, the 'Natural Process' involves fermenting the beans with the fruit intact, bringing out a fruity aroma and deep flavor. However, due to its long drying period and difficult fermentation management, its availability is highly limited.
