■ Background

The revised Logistics Efficiency Act, fully enforced in April 2026, requires "specified shippers" handling over 90,000 tons of cargo annually to prepare medium- to long-term plans and submit regular reports. Many shippers are deepening their understanding of the system and starting to take action, but the most common complaint on the ground is "We can't calculate the loading rate."

- Master data on product weight and dimensions is not maintained.
- Mixed products (volume-heavy vs. weight-heavy) make it difficult to set calculation standards.
- Measuring every shipment at the site is burdensome and unsustainable.

This seminar focuses on the "practical barriers to calculation" many companies face. Through three industry-specific examples (beverage manufacturer, apparel company, and retailer), we will compactly explain in 30 minutes how to select the appropriate calculation method (weight/volume/transport unit), steps from collecting actual loading data to aggregation and calculation results, and methods to create report values just by counting at the site even without a product master. These are practical solutions that operational staff can use from tomorrow.
