Seibuen Yuenchi (Location: Tokorozawa City, Saitama Prefecture; General Manager: Tomohiro Nishida) has decided to extend the highly popular 'Nostalgic Aquarium' exhibition, which marked the finale of the Seibuen Yuenchi 'Showa 100th Anniversary Grand Festival'!

During the extended period, visitors can enjoy a touch pool where they can interact with various creatures such as the 'Horn Shark,' characterized by its cat-ear-like protrusions, and 'Starfish.' Additionally, a 'Craftsman's Secret! Koi-nobori Painting Workshop' will be held, inviting Mr. Rintaro Kono, a carp streamer artisan. The venue will also be adorned with over 100 cherry-blossom-colored carp streamers, allowing guests to enjoy the charm of marine life in a spring-like atmosphere.

'Nostalgic Aquarium' is Seibuen Yuenchi's first special aquarium exhibition, which concluded the Showa 100th Anniversary Grand Festival. Utilizing the biological exhibition and tank production techniques cultivated over 30 years of aquarium operation at Yokohama Hakkeijima Sea Paradise, Seibuen Yuenchi offers a unique exhibition method that invites guests into a 'world enveloped in heartwarming happiness.'

The facility is divided into three ZONES, where lively creatures greet guests, blending into a shopping street scene within department store show windows, coffee shop display cases, and capsule toys at a candy store.

Beyond the shopping street, a time-traveling bus appears, evoking a somewhat nostalgic and mysterious original landscape, with creatures swimming gracefully in the sky spreading out from the bus windows.

Furthermore, the exhibition features 'Aquaponics,' a sustainable future aquarium incorporating the latest technology, and an experiential exhibit with Garra rufa, known for eating old dead skin cells from human skin surfaces.
