Focus on Hokkaido's No. 1 Production Items Nationwide! "Discovery Hokkaido 2026" Held at Daimaru Sapporo Store!

Starting in the autumn of 2006, "Discovery Hokkaido" is now in its 29th iteration. As a signature event of Daimaru Sapporo's food division, it is held twice a year, in summer and autumn. More than 20 years since its launch, this time, by changing the summer event from July to June, we have been able to focus on new ingredients. This event, which discovers and introduces "new (little-known) ingredients" from 179 municipalities in Hokkaido, is now focusing on Hokkaido ingredients that rank "No. 1 in production nationwide." From "ingredients so common we didn't know they were special" to "Wow! What kind of ingredient is this?", a lineup full of new discoveries awaits!

Asparagus from Mos Farm Mukawa

Among the many producers, we are partnering with "Mos Farm Mukawa" this time.

This farm was established by Mos Burger in Mukawa Town, Hokkaido, in 2014. We are offering asparagus that is not generally available, nor is it commercialized or sold by Mos Burger.

In Hokkaido, mainly Mizudako and Yanagidako are landed. Mizudako, in particular, is known as one of the world's largest octopuses, characterized by its tender flesh and rich sweetness.
