About the 12th-Floor Breakfast Venue Renovation

12th-Floor Breakfast Venue: Enjoy a Wider Selection of Dishes with Views of Suruga Bay

Towards a More Open Breakfast Venue with Enhanced Culinary Choice Enjoyment

The 12th-floor breakfast venue is an important place for our overnight guests to start their day. In this renovation, we have revised the layout to place the buffet counter in the center of the floor, making it easier for guests to repeatedly access dishes and enhancing the enjoyment of choosing their meals.

Our original buffet counter features a white top inspired by sandy beaches, designed to better showcase our signature dishes, including Shizuoka specialties.

Thirty spotlights are installed around the buffet counter, brightly illuminating the various dishes, including Shizuoka specialties. We have created a breakfast space suitable for a refreshing start to the day, awakening guests' minds and bodies along with the spectacular view of Suruga Bay.

Furthermore, by providing ample space between areas and seating, we have improved ease of movement within the venue. Instead of following a fixed route, guests can now freely select dishes from their preferred starting point, improving flow even during busy periods.

About the 1st-Floor Shop Renovation

A Shop Where Shelves Are Easy to See and the Joy of Selection Expands

Towards a Warm and Inviting Shop Offering New Product Encounters

Our shop offers a wide range of products, including Shizuoka souvenirs, snacks, local beverages like wine and craft beer, daily necessities convenient during your stay, and merchandise featuring our original character, 'Healing Fairy Yuppi~♪'.

With this renovation, we have introduced tall shelves made of wood, creating a warm atmosphere and significantly increasing the number of products that can be displayed. This has transformed the shop into a space where customers can enjoy discovering new products as they walk through.

Additionally, the lighting is unified in warm tones, creating a comfortable environment for browsing.

Moreover, by eliminating manned cash registers and adopting a layout centered around self-checkout, the sales floor area has greatly increased. We have received much positive feedback from customers regarding the self-checkout system, such as 'It's convenient to be able to buy things 24 hours a day.'
We aim for a shop where not only first-time visitors can discover attractive Shizuoka specialties but also repeat customers can find new discoveries with each visit.

Future Renovation Plans

3rd-Floor Manga Corner and Rest Area Scheduled to Open in July 2026
Suruga Kenko Land aims to be a facility where guests can enjoy not only a variety of baths and saunas but also spend their time more comfortably and enjoyably after their bathing experience. We will continue to sequentially enhance the appeal of our common spaces.

Following the renovation of the 1st-floor shop and 12th-floor breakfast venue, we are currently renovating the manga corner and rest area on the 3rd floor.

The new manga corner and rest area are scheduled to open in July 2026. We are preparing a space that will allow guests to spend more comfortable time after bathing and saunas, with plans for private, secluded spaces and a significant increase in the number of manga volumes.

General Manager's Comment

We aim to be a facility where customers can enjoy their time as they wish, not just as a hot spring facility.

In this renovation, we have improved the 12th-floor breakfast venue to offer breakfast featuring local ingredients with views of Suruga Bay, and the shop to provide a more comfortable experience of browsing and discovering products.

Including the manga corner and rest area scheduled to open soon, we will continue to create an environment within the facility that enhances the 'joy of spending time' through dining, shopping, and relaxation, in addition to bathing.
