The TV anime adaptation of the popular light novel series 'The Strongest Magician's Retirement Plan,' which has surpassed 1 million cumulative copies, has been confirmed!

The series is scheduled to air in 2027 on the 'Agaru Anime' programming block across 28 stations on the CBC/TBS network.

Along with this, a teaser visual and teaser PV featuring the protagonist, Ars Regin, have been released. In addition to revealing part of the cast and staff information, congratulatory comments and illustrations from the original creators have also been received. To commemorate the anime adaptation, a new comic series depicting Ars's backstory will also launch.

'The Strongest Magician's Retirement Plan' is a school action fantasy where Ars Regin, the strongest magician at the pinnacle of over 100,000 magicians, hides his identity to attend a magic academy, where he trains successors and battles monsters. The series has exceeded 1 million copies sold.

The released teaser visual depicts Ars Regin, with his weapon 'AWR,' standing with a relaxed expression against the backdrop of the Tower of Babel and a ruined world.

The teaser PV showcases Ars using his overwhelming power as the strongest magician to defeat monsters.

Voice actor Yuto Uemura, known for playing Atsushi Nakajima in 'Bungo Stray Dogs,' has been cast as Ars Regin.
