To all residents of the Tokai region, thank you for your patience. "Sukesan Udon" will finally open its first store in Aichi Prefecture!

Sukesan Udon Opens First Store in Aichi Prefecture!

"Sukesan Udon" is an "udon chain restaurant" born in Tobata, Kitakyushu City in 1976. Currently, it operates over 100 stores mainly in Kitakyushu City, as well as in the Chugoku region, Kansai region, and Kanto region (1 metropolitan area, 2 prefectures, and 16 prefectures).

Under the management philosophy of "A bowl full of happiness," we have steadily expanded our operating regions with the desire to deliver our proud flavors to more customers and bring them happiness. "Sukesan Udon," which is loved by locals as Kitakyushu's soul food, is now accepted by customers in various regions and its sign can be seen throughout Japan. We operate our stores daily with the desire to deliver "Sukesan Udon" to as many customers as possible and bring them happiness!

And now, we have finally decided to open a store in the Tokai region, Aichi Prefecture, where we have received many requests for a long time.

Our first store in the Tokai region will open in Aichi Prefecture!

The location for the commemorative first store in the Tokai region has been decided as Aichi Prefecture. The opening is scheduled for early next year (early 2027)! Following this, we plan to open multiple stores in Aichi Prefecture and other areas in the Tokai region, and we will be increasing our number of stores one after another. Detailed information such as store locations and opening dates will be announced periodically through press releases and the official "Sukesan Udon" X (formerly Twitter) account.

Since our founding, we have cherished our proud flavors and services, and we want to deliver happiness through each bowl to as many customers as possible. We will continue to strive to become a beloved restaurant in all the regions where we open.

It won't be long until we can bring "Sukesan Udon" to the residents of the Tokai region. Please look forward to it!

Niku Goboten Udon

We aim to be a restaurant that delivers energy and warmth to all regions, making people say, "It's great that Sukesan is in this town!"

Sukesan's Three Promises: - We are committed to taste and quality, delivering a bowl that satisfies all customers. - We create a relaxing and comfortable atmosphere with pleasant service, making it a place where you can always feel at ease. - We foster a safe working environment by respecting each other and caring for one another.

◆Sukesan Udon

Founded in 1976, Sukesan Udon is a Kitakyushu-born udon chain with over 100 stores mainly in Kitakyushu City, and across 7 prefectures in Kyushu, Yamaguchi Prefecture, Okayama Prefecture, Osaka Prefecture, Hyogo Prefecture, Hiroshima Prefecture, Chiba Prefecture, Tokyo Metropolis, Saitama Prefecture, Kanagawa Prefecture, Gunma Prefecture, Nara Prefecture, and Kyoto Prefecture (1 metropolitan area, 2 prefectures, and 16 prefectures). With a rich menu of udon and rice bowls, it is loved by a wide range of customers, from children to the elderly, as "Kitakyushu's soul food."

Since its founding, we have maintained our commitment to "handmade" by preparing dashi (broth) multiple times a day in our stores. The dashi prepared by hand, without sparing any effort, not only contains "deliciousness" but also the passion of the creators to "deliver delicious meals to our customers."

We offer a variety of udon menus, including our most popular "Niku Goboten Udon" and Kitakyushu's specialty "Kashiwa Udon," as well as "Ebi Ten Udon," "Motsunabe Udon," "Yaki Udon," and "Seasonal Udon," all enjoyed with our proud "dashi." The all-you-can-eat grated yam and tempura bits are also a charm of Sukesan Udon.

In addition to udon, we offer over 150 menu items including "soba," "rice bowls," "curry," "oden," and "Kashiwa Onigiri." Our "Botamochi," which sells 6.8 million units annually, is also a famous specialty of Sukesan Udon, loved by many customers.

The long operating hours are also a point that many customers appreciate. Most stores are open late into the night, and many are open 24 hours a day. With the desire for customers to visit us comfortably at any time, we do not charge any late-night fees. Please enjoy your favorite menu at your usual price, at your preferred time.

The interior is equipped with various seating options, including table seats, counter seats, and box seats, allowing you to enjoy your meal at a relaxed pace. Please use our facilities conveniently according to your needs, whether you are with family, friends, or dining alone.

SDGs Initiatives

In March 2021, "Sukesan Udon" declared "Sukesan SDGs" with the goal of "Creating a 'Happy' World." Each individual is conscious of their actions towards achieving this goal and works towards the realization of a better society. Our activities are diverse, including building a workplace that emphasizes diversity and inclusion, cooperating with industry-academia-government collaborative projects for the realization of a circular economy, and utilizing renewable energy with zero CO2 emissions. Among these, we focus on initiatives for children, who are "treasures of the region." We are actively engaged in activities such as establishing the "Sukesan Children's Fund," implementing "Sukesan Food Education Classes," and visiting "children's homes" and "children's cafeterias" with our food trucks to provide meals. Currently, our initiatives for children are mainly focused in the Fukuoka area, but we are also considering expanding these activities to the regions where "Sukesan Udon" opens in the future. *Latest initiatives can be viewed here:* [NOTE] https://note.com/sukesanudon1976/
