Nishiri Co., Ltd. Transforms 'Nishiri Original Wine' into a Piece of Art

Nishiri Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Shimogyo-ku, Kyoto) will refresh the label design of its 'Nishiri Original Wine' starting June 1, 2026 (Monday). The wine will be sold with new art labels featuring works by artists exhibited at the 'AMACO CAFE & Gallery' on the second floor of the main store. These art labels will be developed in conjunction with future exhibitions at the gallery. As different works are featured for each artist and the number of designs increases over time, the series offers not only the taste of wine but also the joy of choosing, collecting, and displaying. One of the attractions is encountering new works every time you visit. Through the fun of choosing your favorite from various designs, you can enjoy the art encountered at AMACO CAFE & Gallery more closely. The initial lineup starts with three art labels: works by Miwa Umeno and Saya Takamoto from the Japanese painting duo exhibition 'Hibi no Awaini,' and works by Mirei Omura from 'Yoi-Jitaku,' scheduled to open on June 6. Each label is a special edition expressing the artist's unique worldview. 'Nishiri Original Wine' is a white wine selected by Nishiri with the theme of 'a taste that goes well with pickles' and 'a taste that enhances the flavor of pickles.' It uses 'Colli Albani 750ml' from Villafranca, Italy. It features a taste that can be enjoyed casually at the dining table, pairs well with Kyoto pickles, and is a bottle that accompanies daily meals.
