Amiya Corporation (Chuo-ku, Tokyo / hereinafter Amiya / TSE Growth: 4258) will begin offering "ALog V2," the latest version of its log management and SIEM product "ALog," from July 2026.
This version is equipped with numerous new features that enhance log operations efficiency and security sophistication, including a revamped UI/UX reflecting customer feedback, AI-driven automatic learning and anomaly detection, rich log search capabilities evolved into analytical functions, and a multi-node configuration supporting large-scale environments. It provides an environment that can quickly detect signs of incidents while minimizing operational load.
Key Release Features
1. Automatic Detection and Analysis with AI
AI automatically learns normal log trends and instantly detects and notifies anomalies. This enables high-precision security operations without specialized knowledge, contributing to faster incident response.
- Newly equipped with "AI Alert Function"
Automatically detects log anomalies from three perspectives (changes in count, changes in value, new occurrences). No threshold design is required, and it instantly notifies of initial attack actions or signs of internal fraud.
2. Revamped UI/UX
Home screen, search screen, and visualization panels have been revamped. It realizes a UI that allows operations personnel to quickly access "information that needs to be viewed now," enabling intuitive understanding of threat signs even without expert log knowledge. This significantly reduces the time required for incident investigation.
- Revamped home screen and newly equipped "Advanced Visualization Panel"
Evolved into a new dashboard that allows for at-a-glance understanding of daily operational status. Furthermore, the "Advanced Visualization Panel" allows for immediate visual discovery of sudden increases in overseas traffic and suspicious communication routes. Without the skill to decipher complex log text, users can intuitively grasp the flow to external, service, or internal destinations through path analysis, and quickly detect signs of threats.
- "Analysis" function added to the search screen, enriching log search
The "Analysis" function has been added to the conventional search screen. It automatically aggregates search results, allowing for visual grasp of log count trends with time-series graphs. Intuitive operations such as zooming into specific time periods and performing drill-down analysis expedite the identification of causes and estimation of impact scope during incident investigations.
3. Support for Large-Scale and Enterprise Environments
Stable operation is realized even in large-scale environments through multi-node configuration, S3 offload, and expanded supported platforms. It flexibly handles increasing managed targets and compliance requirements, balancing long-term operational cost reduction with high availability.
- Supports "Multi-Node Configuration"
Multiple servers operate as a single cluster, enabling parallel and distributed log processing. It also supports scale-out and ensures stable operation in large-scale environments with high availability through data replication (replicas).
- Newly equipped with "Access Log Offload" function
Logs exceeding the specified retention period are automatically migrated to the customer's AWS environment (Amazon S3). Logs can still be searched from ALog after migration, leading to reduced long-term storage costs while leveraging existing AWS environments.
4. Improved Performance and Stability
Daily operations are made more stable and faster through performance improvements in log transformation processing and risk scoring, as well as enhanced security of internal modules. The infrastructure has been strengthened to comfortably handle increasing log volumes.
Regarding Existing User Support
Customers currently using "ALog V1" can upgrade to this version, "ALog V2," free of charge. If you wish to have our company perform the version upgrade work on your behalf, please consult us separately.
