Introducing a Summer Kaiseki to Savor Eel

Shunsai Washoku Ginga (Ginga) offers seasonal premium kaiseki courses that highlight fresh, seasonal ingredients, and has been warmly received by many guests. In July and August 2026, 'Unagikou (Unagikou),' a summer-limited kaiseki with eel as the star, will debut for the first time at Ginga. Guests can fully enjoy the rich flavors of summer, starting with fragrant grilled eel.

'Unagikou – A Premium Kaiseki to Lavishly Enjoy Eel' is a special course that thoughtfully layers the rich flavors of summer around the savory appeal of grilled eel.

The meal begins with three small dishes including 'uzaku,' followed by sashimi and seasonal simmered vegetables. Highlights include aromatic grilled eel, eel with mozuku vinegar, steamed sea urchin tamagochi, and grilled wagyu beef rib, all offering deep, satisfying flavors.

For the main course, guests will enjoy steamed eel in a bamboo basket and miso soup. The meal concludes with a refreshing vanilla ice cream with a delicate aroma of sesame, providing a cool and delightful finish.
