Tamazushi Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Yohei Nakanozato) will grand open 'Tsukiji Sushikuro Nagoya HAERA Store', a sushi bar where customers can casually enjoy authentic sushi and alcoholic beverages, at Nagoya HAERA on Thursday, June 11, 2026.
First in the Tokai Region! An Authentic Sushi Bar in Nagoya for a Quick Stop
'Tsukiji Tamazushi', founded in Tsukiji in 1924 (Taisho 13), has continued to engage with sushi, a food culture that Japan is proud to share with the world, building a history of over 100 years since its founding.
'Tsukiji Sushikuro' is a restaurant where you can enjoy a variety of seafood dishes, including sushi, along with carefully selected premium sake from across Japan. It first opened in 2010 as a new brand of the Tamazushi Group at Yokohama Joinus, and has since been widely patronized in the Yokohama and Ginza areas.
The Nagoya HAERA location, directly connected to Sakae Station on the Nagoya Municipal Subway Higashiyama and Meijo Lines, is a prime area with high daily demand from businesspeople and local residents. This new opening marks the first Nagoya location for 'Tsukiji Sushikuro', perfectly fitting the need for reasonably priced, authentic Edomae sushi and drinks.
For Women's Gatherings or Solo Diners
'Tsukiji Sushikuro' was born from the desire to make authentic sushi crafted by skilled chefs and carefully selected drinks more accessible. Its appeal lies in the friendly atmosphere where you can chat with the chef over the counter and easily order recommendations or seasonal ingredients. It is a safe and welcoming place for various occasions, from shopping trips with friends to an after-work drink or a quick solo stop. Enjoy your drinks with sushi, and let the conversation flow. As a new style of sushi bar for everyday use, we offer authentic flavors and a pleasant time. We welcome you in a warm, open space where even first-timers will naturally smile.
Nagoya Store Exclusive Menu! A Rich Selection of Seafood Snacks
As a branch of the long-established 'Tsukiji Tamazushi', beloved for over a century, the quality of the fish is guaranteed. Fresh ingredients landed daily from Ise Bay and Mikawa Bay are prepared by skilled chefs into a variety of sushi styles, including nigiri, aburi (seared), and hasami (sandwich) sushi.
Furthermore, 'Tsukiji Sushikuro' offers a wide array of dishes that pair perfectly with alcohol. From the 'Salt-Koji Marinated Tuna Toro Steak' to the popular 'Nodoguro (Blackthroat Seaperch) Sandwich Roll' and 'Luxurious Sea Urchin and Salmon Roe Sandwich Roll', the restaurant boasts a range of indulgent yet accessible grilled sandwich rolls. Other snacks like 'Sake-Steamed Clams' and 'Butter-Grilled Whelks' are also plentiful. High-quality ingredients are carefully prepared and offered at reasonable prices in central Nagoya.
A Lively and Inviting Interior Centered Around Counter Seats
Upon entering, customers are greeted by counter seats that wrap around a vibrant open kitchen. The flat counter design allows a clear view of the chefs' hands, letting you fully enjoy the live performance of sushi being made. Table seats are also available in the back, suitable for an after-work drink or a meal with friends, depending on the occasion.
Our company will continue to innovate and pursue new attractions of sushi, ensuring that fresh seafood is enjoyed even more deliciously through the skills of our chefs.
