Standing Sushi Bar 'Sushi Kaiko' at Odawara Hayakawa Port Celebrates 1st Anniversary with 1-Ton Rice Giveaway

Jutaro Co., Ltd. (Odawara City, Kanagawa Prefecture) announced that its standing sushi bar 'Sushi Kaiko' will celebrate its 1st anniversary in June 2026.

To express their gratitude, the '1st Anniversary Thanksgiving Festival' will be held for six days from Thursday, June 18 to Tuesday, June 23, 2026.

The highlight of this event is the free distribution of 2kg of rice to the first 500 groups of dining customers, along with a free 2-piece set of wild bluefin tuna and Odawara local horse mackerel for all visitors.

Giving Back About 1 Ton of Rice to Customers

The total amount of rice to be distributed is approximately 1 ton. While discounts and perks are common at restaurant anniversary events, Sushi Kaiko will be giving away rice instead.

Bringing Local Odawara Fish to More People

Sushi Kaiko opened in 2025 as a direct-buyer sushi restaurant offering mainly fish landed at Odawara Fishing Port and Hayakawa Fishing Port. With a mission to convey the appeal of local fish, it operates as a daily-use restaurant for locals as well as a spot for tourists. Through this anniversary festival, they hope to provide more people with an opportunity to taste the deliciousness of Odawara fish through the wild bluefin tuna and local horse mackerel.
