Rakuten Baseball, Inc. (Headquarters: Sendai City, Miyagi Prefecture, President: Masayuki Morii) announces that it will hold its major summer event, "Natsusuta! STARLIGHT GALAXY," from Friday, July 31, 2026, to Sunday, August 23, 2026.
"Natsusuta!" is a popular summer event for the Rakuten Eagles, held annually since 2008, with over 4.7 million visitors to date. In 2025, held under the theme "VIVID SUMMER," the event featured stadium productions enveloped in colorful lights and sounds, along with exclusive gourmet offerings, attracting approximately 270,000 visitors. In 2026, with the theme "STARLIGHT GALAXY," the entire Rakuten Mobile Miyagi Stadium will be transformed into a "space environment," offering attendees a unique viewing experience exclusive to this summer.
This Year's Theme is Space! Rakuten Eagles' "Strongest" Summer Event Kicks Off July 31 (Fri)
This event will feature visuals inspired by galaxies spread across the stadium's outer perimeter and throughout the venue. A giant rocket object, approximately 8 meters tall, and a planet-themed object will be installed at the main entrance. Additionally, 41 types of gourmet dishes inspired by galaxies will be available, providing visitors with a comprehensive "STARLIGHT GALAXY" experience from the moment they step into the stadium.
Beyond just watching the games, interactive experiences themed around space will also be offered, creating summer memories for families and friends. Experience a special stadium transformation into the "strongest" and most enjoyable space environment at Rakuten Mobile Miyagi Stadium this summer.

The in-stadium productions during the event period will incorporate motifs of space and galaxies for the starting lineup announcements and inter-inning events, creating an immersive space-like atmosphere as if traveling through the cosmos. Furthermore, fireworks will be launched daily after the 5th inning (※) and a 300-drone show will be held daily after the game, serving as unique nighttime attractions for Natsusuta!. On the final day, baseball's largest 800-drone show and the "Daiwa Roynet Hotels presents Natsusuta! Finale Fireworks Display" will be held to spectacularly conclude the event. This offers a special viewing experience blending the expansive scale of an outdoor stadium with the excitement of a night game.
