Matsuya Foods Co., Ltd. Retaining the authentic ingredients, we have pursued compatibility with rice through a special white sauce fragrant with garlic.

To commemorate our 60th anniversary, Matsuya's legendary menu that changed its history, "Shukumeri," will be simultaneously released at Matsuya restaurants worldwide. Driven by the desire to "satisfy our customers with a full stomach," we have walked for 60 years supported by our local communities. "Shukumeri," born from the idea of "wanting many customers to taste delicious dishes from around the world," is a symbolic product that has recently triggered the enhancement of Matsuya's set meal menu and the expansion of its global gourmet menu. Since its launch in 2020, it has won first place in the Matsuya Revival Menu General Election and achieved Hall of Fame status.

"Shukumeri," also known as "the dish that makes you enjoy garlic the most in the world," is a traditional Georgian dish of chicken simmered in a garlic-infused white sauce. At Matsuya, we have meticulously developed the sauce to complement Japanese rice. The mildness characteristic of white sauce, enveloping sweet potatoes, melting cheese, and juicy chicken, is followed by the punchy garlic flavor and the deliciousness of milky cheese, creating a taste that makes you crave rice.
