Messer Acquires Singapore-Based Industrial Gas Platform — Japan Corporate Advisory Institute (JCAI) Advises Seller

Messer, one of the world’s largest independent specialists in industrial, medical, electronics, and specialty gases based in Germany, has acquired WKS Group, a Singapore-based industrial gas platform operating in Singapore and southern Malaysia. The terms of the transaction are not disclosed.

Messer reported consolidated sales of approximately 4.5 billion euros in the fiscal year 2025.

Founded in 1977 in Singapore, WKS Group operates six subsidiaries and employs around 195 people in Singapore and southern Malaysia. This acquisition enables Messer to expand its operational footprint in Southeast Asia and strengthen access to key industrial clusters in the region.
