Our passion for [Wataru Magu] and [Kidaru Jokki®]. Ashitaka Seisakusho Co., Ltd. / URAKITA Kobo is a company that operates a bar (BAR URAKITA) in Shimokitazawa. 'We want to make a mug that even people who don't drink alcohol can enjoy a toast with.' 'Why does everyone in Japan use the same shape of mug?' 'The mug that a customer's lips touch is the most important thing in a restaurant. If only we could provide a 'personal mug' for each customer.'

From this strong desire, after countless trials and errors since around 2008, the [Kidaru Jokki®] was born from assembled domestic wood (thinned wood). The release of an official wooden barrel mug for a popular anime in 2011 became a national topic. This is a genuine [Wataru Magu] and [Kidaru Jokki®] that combines not only shape but also lightness and durability. Currently, we are engaged in various uncompromising collaborations with the anime, manga, game, music, and camping industries.

We will bring more smiles to toasts around the world with Wataru Magu and Kidaru Jokki®.

● Origin of the company name: 'Ashitaka Seisakusho' was named by the founder and CEO, Ageishi, after 'Mount Ashitaka' in Shizuoka Prefecture, where he ran around as a boy, to never forget the feeling of excitement and adventure.
