[Nagano/Azumino] Outdoor Activity Project 'AZUMINO MOUNTAIN DISCOVERY' to Launch in 2026 Near Daio Wasabi Farm

MOUNTAIN DISCOVERY LLC (Representative: Yutaro Yumoto), which has been operating outdoor guide services in Nagano Prefecture for over 10 years, will launch 'AZUMINO MOUNTAIN DISCOVERY' in Azumino City, Nagano Prefecture, starting from the 2026 season. In this project, Ho-getsu Co., Ltd. (Representative Director: Masato Murata), which develops outdoor tourism, regional facility rebranding, and real estate businesses in Nagano Prefecture, is in charge of planning, reservations, customer attraction, and user support. Leveraging the clear streams and natural resources of the Azumino area, the project will provide outdoor activities that can be enjoyed by all generations, from children to adults, including rafting, SUP, packrafting, and river play experiences. The field spans from the popular tourist spot 'Daio Wasabi Farm' to the majestic Sai River route. The project emphasizes accessibility, such as same-day reservations (subject to availability), welcoming beginners, half-day participation, and easy access during sightseeing, aiming for 'nature experiences in Nagano that can be enjoyed casually.' The field for AZUMINO MOUNTAIN DISCOVERY focuses on the Sai River route, where spring water from the Northern Alps flows, offering nature experiences unique to Azumino. Through this initiative, the project aims to enhance the overall appeal of regional tourism by focusing on creating new tourist routes in Nagano, increasing the stay value of the Azumino area, strengthening family-oriented tourism, and creating nature experiences that are easy for beginners to join.
