Yamamoto Shoten Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Kobe / President: Itaru Natori), the sole importer and manufacturer/retailer in Japan for the long-established chocolate brand "Caffarel" (founded in Turin, Italy), will participate in "Italia in Festa 2026," a commemorative project for the 160th anniversary of Japan-Italy diplomatic relations, to be held at Hotel Chinzanso Tokyo starting August 1, 2026 (Sat).

Founded in 1826 and based in Turin, Piedmont, Italy, Caffarel has been spreading chocolate culture worldwide and will celebrate its 200th anniversary in 2026. Through participation in this project, we hope to celebrate the history of friendship between Japan and Italy and provide many customers with an opportunity to experience authentic Italian flavors and culture.

A rich glass dessert featuring gelato made with mascarpone generously topped with Gianduja cream from the long-established Italian chocolate brand, Caffarel. Soy sauce is used as a secret ingredient in the chocolate crumble at the bottom of the glass, incorporating a Japanese touch.
