From July 1, 2026, to September 30, 2026, in-flight meal menus supervised by Marufuku Coffee Shop, operated by Marufuku Shoten Co., Ltd. (President and CEO: Shinichiro Ibuki, Headquarters: Osaka City, Osaka Prefecture), will be offered on China Airlines, Taiwan's leading airline.

Background of the Collaboration

Osaka is Japan's second-largest city, and China Airlines' Osaka Kansai-Taipei Taoyuan route will celebrate its 20th anniversary in July of this year (2026).

China Airlines, while actively promoting the charm of Taiwan, also values the warm hospitality unique to Osaka. With the desire for passengers to enjoy local delicacies on board, they approached Marufuku Coffee Shop, a long-established coffee shop with over 90 years of history founded in Osaka.

Following numerous discussions, adjustments were made to the menu content and flavors to ensure that the distinctive taste of Marufuku Coffee Shop could be enjoyed even in the limited environment of an aircraft, leading to the realization of this collaboration.

Collaboration Details

In Business Class, the meal will include "Dashimaki Tamago" (rolled omelet) as an appetizer, a garden salad with Marufuku Coffee Shop's original "Corn Dressing," and "Honey Rolls." For the main course, passengers can choose between "Slow-Cooked Beef Stew" or "Braised Pork Belly in Cantonese Style Soy Sauce." The dessert will be a plate featuring Marufuku Coffee Shop's popular "Coffee Roll Cake."
