[MUFG Bank] Adopts AI for MUFG Wealth Management Solutions, Launching on Member Site "MUFG Wealth Management OPUS" and Digital Platform

MUFG Bank (hereafter, the Bank), a consolidated subsidiary of Mitsubishi UFJ Financial Group, Inc. (hereafter, MUFG), is renewing its member site, which delivers information online to affluent customers, by expanding its AI-generated information provision functions and establishing a new site name. Additionally, the Bank is enhancing the specialized goal-based approach planning provided by its sales representatives by leveraging generative AI, offering MUFG Wealth Management's professional solutions.

1. Launch of Member Site "MUFG Wealth Management OPUS" with Expanded Information Provision Functions Including Generative AI

MUFG Wealth Management is MUFG's service brand that delivers comprehensive, tailor-made financial services. With a mission to be a partner that walks alongside customers to help them achieve their aspirations, we provide professional advice and diverse solutions.

as part of this initiative, on March 24, 2026, we have expanded the member site, which offers unique experiences and content, to include functions such as AI-powered analysis of timely news from Japan and abroad, delivered via short videos, and a My Page function. Concurrently, we have established the name "MUFG Wealth Management OPUS" [1] to enhance customer experience value.

Some of the New Functions Being Launched

(1) AI Market Video "Global Market Report"

　Introduction of QUICK Corporation's generative AI financial video generation solution "QUICK Smart Brain"

(2) My Page Function

　Confirmation and editing of favorite content, web consultation schedules with dedicated representatives, etc.

(3) Electronic Consent Function for Information Usage

　Function to obtain consent for linking transaction information with MUFG Group entities such as Mitsubishi UFJ Trust and Banking Corporation and Mitsubishi UFJ Morgan Stanley Securities Co., Ltd.

In the future, it is planned to feature content such as "Thoughts on the Market," a podcast where Morgan Stanley, MUFG's strategic partner, shares global expertise, encouraging daily use by customers sensitive to global affairs and news.

2. Utilization of Generative AI in MUFG Wealth Management Digital Platform

The Bank has introduced the group-wide digital platform "MUFG Wealth Management Digital Platform (hereafter, WMPF)" [2], which enables goal-based approach planning tailored to challenges and provides integrated reports of total assets. Now, by introducing proprietary generative AI functions onto WMPF, we aim to further enhance the consulting capabilities of the Bank's sales representatives.

New Functions in WMPF

(1) GPS Navi (Integrated into WMPF's proposal function "Goal Planning System (GPS)" [2] on March 23, 2026)

　Based on a vast amount of proposal examples, market, and product information, generative AI provides information relevant to operations in natural language, thereby improving the efficiency of information processing for sales representatives and proposal creation using WMPF.

(2) AI Assistant (Pre-integrated into WMPF's information search function "Integrated View" [2] on the same day)

　Generative AI predicts and presents scenarios for achieving goals that sales representatives should pursue from the present to the future in natural language, assisting in prompt and high-quality consulting.

In the utilization of generative AI, we will analyze and verbalize the knowledge and achievements cultivated by our sales representatives, fostering a fusion of humans and AI in response to AI's evolution.

Integrated View displays customer and representative information for the bank, trust, and securities in a list, strengthening unified operation of MUFG. NBA delivers recommendations for the next actions representatives should take based on customer situations, etc., utilizing analytics models to support representatives' sales activities. GPS visualizes customers' total assets and is a tool for simulating solutions for issues related to total assets, taking into account cash flow according to goals and life plans.
