Melon Batake a go go

PROFILE:

Formed in 2015, live activities began in 2016. The group consists of 6 members in total: 3 "aliens" (Soze Nakamura, Run Rudabin, Yufi Sakimura) and 3 "earthlings (?)" (Chiyo Chiyo, Kotomi Kugatsu, Usako Minano). Their trademark is eye masks. In 2019, they released their first major distribution album, "IKASUZE IDOL1.2.3!!", through Columbia Marketing. They have held numerous self-produced live shows at venues such as Shinjuku LOFT, Zepp DiverCity (TOKYO), SHIBUYA CLUB QUATTRO, KT Zepp Yokohama, and Kawasaki CLUB CITTA', and have also participated in overseas events in Italy and the United States. In 2022, they adopted their current lineup, and in 2023, they embarked on a nationwide tour. The tour final was a successful one-man live at Kawasaki CLUB CITTA'. In 2024, they held a long-awaited band-set one-man live at the historic "Tokyo Kinema Club" in Uguisudani, their home base. In 2026, they will celebrate their 10th anniversary of live activities.

The Grateful a MogAAAz PROFILE: Formed in June 2019 as a sister group to Melon Batake a go go. They made their LIVE debut as the opening act for Melon Batake a go go's "SICK×IDOLS×SICK" In ZEPP Diver City Tokyo on October 17, 2019. On December 24, 2019, they released their major distribution album "Our Generation ~Bokura no Jidai~" through Columbia Marketing. On October 19, 2021, they performed at Gollipop Record's "MASK!!!MASK!!!MASK!!!SP" held at KT Zepp Yokohama and participated in numerous idol festivals, including Gyu-Noh Fes. In October 2022, they held a one-man live at Tokyo Kinema Club in Uguisudani. From March 2024, they have been active with their current lineup of 6 members: Chiyo Chiyo, Miyabi Nanami, Kotomi Kugatsu, Usako Minano, Candy Yamauchi, and Yurane Hoshino. In November of the same year, they held a one-man live with the current lineup at Yokohama 1000CLUB. In March 2025, they will release their latest single "Jigoku no Sata mo SORE Shidai" through Columbia Marketing. Since 2023, they have also been annually hosting their self-produced idol festival "Moga Fes" in Shioya Town, Tochigi Prefecture, expanding its scale each year.

POPPY PROFILE: A masked idol unit featuring "Yawaragi Menma," spun off from 'The Grateful a MogAAAz'. Keybow (Melon Batake a go go, The Grateful a MogAAAz) handles production and main lyrics, while Ippei Ryuzan, who worked on Tomato n' Pine, is responsible for composition. Their style, reminiscent of a colorful summer, differs from the label's previous image. They can be said to be the most artistic idol unit within the same label. They operated as the temporary unit 'RUNAMEN' in March 2021 and were renamed POPPY at KT Zepp Yokohama in October. The group name was given by "Run Rudabin" of 'Melon Batake a go go', a labelmate. In February 2022, they released their 1st single "Naminori Summer!" through Columbia Marketing. Following the graduation of founding members, "Chiyo Chiyo" joined as a guest member, and they temporarily started as 'CHIYOPPY from POPPY'. In 2025, it was announced that "Ami no Koromi," a former concurrent member of 'Melon Batake a go go' and 'The Grateful a MogAAAz' and Chiyo Chiyo's partner, would join, restarting 'POPPY' as a trio. They have become a regular front act at ROCK BAND 'ROGUE''s annual year-end one-man live for the past few years, receiving high praise from customers in the band scene.
