Logikura Inc. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, Representative Director: Hiroto Sakimaki, hereinafter "Logikura") has begun providing an MCP server for its cloud inventory management system "Logikura." Users can now perform real-time analysis, inquiry, and report generation of inventory data simply by giving instructions in natural language to generative AI such as Claude.
Logikura Supports AI Standard Specification "MCP." New Feature Allows Inventory Analysis and Report Creation by Simply Talking to Generative AI like Claude (Release Date: June 30, 2026)
Beyond a Solid Foundation, Another Question Remains
For businesses handling physical goods, inventory management is a task fraught with labor and the risk of errors. Incorrect shipments, stockouts, and discrepancies in inventory counts directly lead to a loss of customer trust and profits. Logikura has been used by over 30,000 users cumulatively as a system to resolve these on-site challenges.
However, once the anxieties of the front lines are resolved, another question remains: "Which channels should we focus on?" "Which products should we order next?" "When will this aging inventory turn into cash?" These are questions that should have been addressed but haven't been. While the data exists, there has been no means to connect it to management decisions, and time is still spent today transcribing data into spreadsheets.
This MCP support is a new initiative to address this challenge. While maintaining the foundation that supports daily operations, it expands the use of inventory data, which has not been fully utilized until now, to a state where it can be leveraged for management decisions, evolving inventory management into a foundation that supports business operator decision-making.
Three Experiences Transformed by Dialogue with AI
Instant Grasp of Sales by Channel By simply asking the AI "Which channel grew last month?", a clear sales ranking and composition ratio based on shipment performance data will be provided. Year-end sales reviews and decisions on promotional budget allocation can be completed before meetings.
Early Detection of Stockout Risks Through automatic comparison with reorder point inventory, products that need to be ordered will be listed in order of priority. This structurally prevents lost opportunities from "running out of stock without realizing it."
Visualization and Monetization of Aging Inventory Inventory that has not been shipped for a certain period can be immediately grasped by quantity and valuation. "Sleeping assets" that are occupying warehouse space are visualized on a monetary basis, supporting decisions for sales or disposal.
Furthermore, instead of a structure where external AI directly accesses the database, Logikura's system acts as an intermediary, allowing operations to be maintained while preserving the security policies built up by the front lines.
Comment from Representative Director, Hiroto Sakimaki
Logikura has, until now, addressed each challenge occurring in the "front lines" of inventory management, such as receiving, shipping, and inventory counts, and has been utilized by many customers as "infrastructure for the front lines" supporting the daily operations of businesses.
This MCP support is a crucial step towards realizing the next stage. By making inventory data, which was previously confined to the front lines, safely handleable through AI in natural language, we are evolving Logikura from a tool for "recording and managing inventory" to a foundation that "supports management decisions."
We aim for a world where anyone can gain insights, previously only obtainable by a select few experts, simply by conversing: how much assets are currently in the warehouse, which products are generating profit, and what should be invested in next.
Towards the realization of our mission to "optimize the world's goods," we are advancing from "infrastructure for the front lines" to "infrastructure for management." We will further accelerate our challenge to connect supply chain information into one and become an entity that supports the very decision-making of businesses.
Development Speed Further Accelerated After Joining the freee Group
Since joining the freee group in April 2026, Logikura has further increased its development speed. Following the release of the freee accounting integration, this MCP support is also part of that initiative. We are adding a new axis of AI integration towards the realization of "management where inventory is visible. Management where profits grow."
Future Outlook
With the mission of "optimizing the world's goods," Logikura will continue to promote the automation of inventory management tasks and strengthen integration with peripheral systems. Along with the evolution of AI and open integration standards, we aim to realize a world where corporate inventory management is continuously optimized without human intervention.
