Three Facilities Jointly Launch Regional Co-creation Strolling Promotion Project 'Bound by Famous Water and Fate' in Hadano City, Kanagawa Prefecture

Rembrandt Hotels & Resorts Co., Ltd. (Location: Atsugi City, Kanagawa Prefecture) operates the hot spring facility 'Totonoi no Sato Hadano Yukara'. Together with Izumo Taisha Sagami Bunshi and Yamamori Chaya Mori no Tofu Kobo Mikawaya, they are jointly launching a regional co-creation strolling promotion project called 'Bound by Famous Water and Fate, Hadano Local Strolling Model' in Hadano City, Kanagawa Prefecture.

This project is not just a simple stamp rally; it is a region-wide initiative designed to allow participants to experience the local history, culture, and rich natural blessings with all five senses. By connecting shrine visits, food, and hot spring bathing into a single narrative, the project aims to widely disseminate the unique appeal of Hadano, foster interaction between tourists and the local community, and contribute to sustainable regional revitalization and economic stimulation.

Background and Purpose of the Project

Hadano City is a land of abundant famous water nestled at the foot of the Tanzawa Mountains and is also known as a place of 'en-musubi' (fateful connections), home to the Izumo Taisha Sagami Bunshi.

This project aims to connect the regional resources of 'famous water' and 'fate' into a single strolling route through collaboration among the three facilities. The goal is to provide an attractive experience for both first-time visitors to Hadano and regular visitors from afar. Furthermore, by encouraging local residents and surrounding businesses to participate in the project, it aims to create interaction between tourists and the community, serving as a region-wide initiative for rediscovering local charm and contributing to the revitalization of the regional economy and the sustainable creation of vibrancy.

Experience Flow

Participants receive a 'Strolling Card' distributed at each facility and collect stamps at all three locations.

Collecting stamps from all facilities will earn participants a limited-edition 'sticker'.

The card can be started at any of the facilities, and the order of visiting is free.

Project Features and Expectations for Regional Promotion

This project aims to transform regional tourism, which has often been transit-oriented, into 'tourism where visitors stay and explore' by establishing a unique Hadano experience route: 'Shrine Visit → Famous Water x Food → Hot Spring Bathing'. By connecting the 'fate' experience at Izumo Taisha Sagami Bunshi, meals utilizing Hadano's famous water, and the healing of hot springs into a single story, it builds a regional strolling model where visitors can enjoy the charm of Hadano with all five senses.

Furthermore, by re-editing region-specific resources such as 'famous water' and 'faith in fateful connections' that Hadano City prides itself on, and disseminating them as 'value that can only be experienced in Hadano', the project will also contribute to enhancing the regional brand power. Additionally, through the stamp rally, photo spots, and SNS posting campaigns, it will promote the creation of UGC (User Generated Content) such as '#HadanoStrolling'. By generating word-of-mouth effects through tourists' own posts, it aims to attract new visitors and expand regional recognition, leading to sustainable regional revitalization.

About Izumo Taisha Sagami Bunshi

Izumo Taisha Sagami Bunshi is a historic shrine in Hadano that has long been cherished as a place enshrining a divided spirit of Izumo Taisha. Known as the 'God of Fateful Connections', it attracts many worshippers for prayers for good relationships, family safety, and protection from evil. The shrine grounds, surrounded by rich nature, offer a healing space where visitors can enjoy seasonal scenery and are gaining attention as a stopover spot for Hadano sightseeing.

This shrine has long watched over the changes in Hadano and the lives of its people, serving as a spiritual anchor for the community. Through this project, we aim to allow visitors to experience the rich nature and history of the shrine grounds, and by closely collaborating with local commercial facilities, connect Hadano's wonderful traditions and culture to the next generation and beyond the region, contributing to the sustainable development of the area and people's lives.

About Yamamori Chaya Mori no Tofu Kobo Mikawaya

This is a community-based tofu workshop and dining establishment offering handmade tofu made with Hadano's famous water. The tofu dishes, which allow you to taste the natural sweetness of soybeans and the smoothness of the famous water, are popular among many local residents and tourists. The shop offers Japanese cuisine centered on tofu and sweets, and is popular as a spot to experience the unique food culture of 'Hadano, the town of famous water'.

Our shop provides the blessings of Hadano's world-renowned 'famous water' through food. By enhancing Hadano's brand power through various collaborations with local businesses, we promote local production for local consumption, and work hand-in-hand with local farmers and surrounding businesses to contribute to the circulation and revitalization of the regional economy.

About Totonoi no Sato Hadano Yukara

At this facility operated by Rembrandt Hotels & Resorts Co., Ltd., while maintaining the core appeal of 'Relaxation (healing)' and 'Entertainment (fun)', we are expanding the new element of 'Wellness (physical and mental health)'. We aim to create a space where local residents can not only heal their daily fatigue and cultivate vitality for the next day but also naturally nurture a healthy body and mind in their daily lives. Furthermore, under the concept of our wellness business, 'Aiming for a vibrant and radiant life', we will provide services that serve as 'color in life', helping people of all generations lead healthy, fulfilling days and enriching their daily lives.

In this project, our facility serves as a place for visitors who have toured the 'shrine visit' and 'famous water x food' experiences to find healing at the end of their journey. Furthermore, with the pure steam from sauna stones, for which prayers for safety and health were offered at Izumo Taisha Sagami Bunshi on May 28, 2026, we will play the role of completing this 'Hadano Strolling' as an experience that delivers new enjoyment and health for tuning the body and mind.

Going forward, by combining regional resources with the hot spring bathing experience, we will create accommodation value unique to Hadano, contributing to the promotion of strolling throughout the region, increasing the length of stay, and expanding tourism consumption.

Operating Company

Our group operates 7 hotels and 1 villa in Kanagawa Prefecture, as well as real estate and wellness businesses. We also widely operate hotel and leisure businesses, including golf courses and hotels, in the neighboring Shizuoka Prefecture. Through collaborative projects, we are accumulating business know-how in the wellness field.
