Raquan Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Yamanashi City, Yamanashi Prefecture) has established a new 'Regional Collaboration Desk' as a new initiative aimed at solving regional issues and promoting regional revitalization. Concurrently, Mr. Kondo, a former official of the prefectural sports association, has joined as the Regional Collaboration Director. Leveraging his experience gained on-site, community-rooted support will be fully launched starting in April 2026.

■ Background of Establishment

Local governments and organizations have a strong desire to 'deliver the appeal of their region to more people' and 'further enhance existing value.' Indeed, through my work at the prefectural sports association and the prefectural office, I have encountered numerous positive intentions and enthusiasm on the ground. However, it is not easy to secure sufficient time and personnel for new initiatives amidst daily tasks, and many projects stall before they can be materialized. Additionally, factors unique to local public bodies, such as personnel rotation, limited budgets, and lack of know-how, often combine to mean that even completed initiatives end up as one-offs or short-term efforts, failing to lead to continuous results.

As a result, regions that inherently possess diverse human resources, assets, and unique attractions often face the challenge of not being able to fully utilize them.

In response to this situation, we strongly felt the need for support that does not unilaterally impose measures from outside, but rather draws out the issues, aspirations, and potential within the region, and accompanies them from execution to sustained continuation.

Instead of merely ending with 'I want to do it,' we aim to connect to a state of 'it was achieved' and 'it is continuing.' To materialize on-site voices and concepts into concrete projects and nurture them into sustainable initiatives, we established the 'Regional Collaboration Desk' as a one-stop support system, from consultation to project planning, execution, and improvement.

・Public relations support executable with limited budgets (video production, flyer creation, SNS operation, etc.)
・Support for introducing educational and experience programs (sports/exercise classes, etc.) and dispatching instructors

・Planning and implementation of wellness solution projects aimed at health promotion and regional revitalization

・Planning and operation support for regional revitalization projects (bicycle classes, breakin' (dance), etc.) and others

We provide consistent support from consultations like 'I don't know where to start' to problem organization, project planning, execution, and improvement.

Through my work at the prefectural sports association and the prefectural office, I have been involved with many local governments and organizations. What I felt during that time was the reality on the ground: 'They have aspirations, but various constraints prevent them from moving forward.' In addition to limited personnel, budgets, and being overwhelmed by daily tasks, there are difficulties in handover due to personnel transfers and a structure where know-how is not easily accumulated. Projects that should have been realized stop before taking shape. Or, even if implemented, they don't lead to continuation. I have witnessed this frustration many times on-site, and I have experienced it myself. While facing these challenges daily, I came to feel how much it would empower the field if there were a presence that carefully understood their concerns and aspirations, gave them form, and continuously supported them. I believed that what the region truly needed was not temporary assistance, but a presence that would walk alongside them, looking in the same direction.

With these thoughts, I encountered Raquan Co., Ltd., which values facing challenges from the same perspective as the community and seeing things through to the end. I decided to join the company, believing that in this environment, I could more fundamentally address the challenges I had felt and contribute to the region.

Among private businesses, proposals are often made based on the company's own services and mechanisms. However, we do not offer such one-way provisions.
