Notice Regarding Strategic Business and Capital Alliance with Nippon Electric Glass Co., Ltd.

Yokowo Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo; President: Shohei Yanagisawa) hereby announces that it has entered into a strategic business and capital alliance with Nippon Electric Glass Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Otsu, Shiga; President: Akira Kishimoto; hereinafter 'NEG') for the purpose of creating and realizing new collaboration themes centered on the semiconductor and telecommunications fields. NEG develops, manufactures, and sells various electronic device glass products, focusing on the semiconductor and telecommunications sectors, and is advancing product development and business expansion utilizing LTCC technology. Yokowo and NEG have been promoting collaboration, including joint development of new products, through LTCC Materials Co., Ltd., which was established in 2019 as a joint venture (NEG 70%, Yokowo 30%). With this new alliance, the companies aim to further strengthen their partnership to create and realize new collaboration themes in the semiconductor and telecommunications fields. Through this alliance, the companies will integrate Yokowo's device development technology with NEG's material development technology to promote the development and business expansion of high-value-added products such as inspection substrates for photoelectric fusion devices and antennas for 5G and 6G, thereby further accelerating the strengthening of competitiveness in growth fields.
