Caregility Completes Remote Nursing Joint Demonstration with Nagoya University Hospital

## Overview
Caregility Inc., Nagoya University Hospital, and Media Plus announced the completion of a joint demonstration using the remote healthcare solution "Caregility," conducted from January to February 2026.

## Objectives
This project aimed to verify the effectiveness of virtual nursing and remote healthcare support in the Japanese medical field. Facing challenges such as labor shortages and increased workload, the study evaluated the practicality of a remote care model focused on documentation and educational support within the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU).

## Demonstration Details

## Key Results
In the demonstration, virtual nurses assisted in creating medical records and provided educational support, such as real-time safety verification. The median time spent on documentation was significantly reduced from 695 seconds without remote support to 342 seconds with remote support.

Surveys among bedside nurses yielded positive responses, with approximately 80% reporting reduced documentation time and 60% reporting more time available for patient care. It was also demonstrated that the system can be utilized for clinical decision-making support and patient monitoring.

## Future Outlook
Moving forward, the partners aim to expand the operational scope and further measure educational effectiveness to build a sustainable remote nursing support model adapted to the Japanese healthcare system.
