Mapple Inc. (Headquarters: Chiyoda-ku, Tokyo, President and CEO Yuki Ohinata, hereinafter "Mapple") will begin offering "Ver.11.0" on July 6, 2026. This version implements the latest 2026 map data and new features such as vertical screen display for its "Business Car Navigation*1 SDK," a software development kit that adds car navigation functionality to business apps operating on Android and Windows tablets.

This product is a problem-solving solution for businesses and SI (System Integrator) vendors that operate "working vehicles" such as delivery trucks in the logistics industry, buses, taxis, and garbage trucks.

We have supported on-site challenges such as "difficulty in handover due to reliance on experienced employees' knowledge," "newly hired drivers unfamiliar with geography due to labor shortages," and "desire to share routes that avoid school zones or dangerous areas" through annual version upgrades.

We now officially support "vertical screen display," a feature that has been highly requested. This allows for optimal navigation functionality in either portrait or landscape screen layouts, depending on the installation space for smartphones and tablets in vehicles, or the interface of existing business apps.

2. [Route Search] Added conditions for "No Highways" and "No Ferries"

Two new route search conditions, "No Highways" and "No Ferries," have been added. This allows for the reliable exclusion of routes that could not be avoided with the previous "prioritize general roads" setting, enabling more reliable route suggestions tailored to the characteristics and operating costs of business vehicles.

3. [Extended July 31 (Fri)] Online Map Update Functionality Becomes Even More Convenient

On July 31 (Fri), we will expand the functionality of the "Online Map Update Version," which allows for automatic map updates. In addition to automatic updates, this expansion will enable data updates at any desired timing, as well as online updates for search data and a function for bulk downloading map data by prefecture, supporting stable operation regardless of communication environment.
