Mother Entertainment, operator of Asביל, opens new event base "YOKOHAMA COAST REALITY PORT" in PLOT48

Mother Entertainment Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Yokohama, Kanagawa Prefecture, Representative Director: Yusuke Yoshio, hereinafter "Mother Entertainment"), in collaboration with the Shin Toshi Life Holdings Group (Shin Toshi Life Holdings Co., Ltd., Headquarters: Shinjuku, Tokyo, Representative Director: Nobukazu Tanaka), will open a new event and entertainment base "YOKOHAMA COAST REALITY PORT" within "PLOT48" on August 8, 2026 (Saturday) (planned).

This facility will operate as a new base for the event brand "YOKOHAMA COAST" developed in the east exit of Yokohama Station, and will accommodate a wide range of uses such as exhibitions, pop-up events, corporate promotions, and IP content events.

Through the opening of this facility, Mother Entertainment will work to improve connectivity and create new excitement from the east exit of Yokohama Station to the Minatomirai area.

2. Background of Opening

Mother Entertainment has been working to create foot traffic and revitalize the Yokohama area through the operation of "Asביל," a complex experiential entertainment facility in the east exit of Yokohama Station, and the event brand "YOKOHAMA COAST."

Since its opening, Asביל has contributed to increasing the length of stay and connectivity for visitors through the development of various events and content, and has grown into a facility that attracts approximately 4.44 million visitors annually.

Through collaboration with the Shin Toshi Life Holdings Group, we aim to create new foot traffic connecting the east exit of Yokohama Station and the Minatomirai area, and enhance the overall appeal of the area by opening a new base in the Shin-Takashima area.

A new event base located in PLOT48. As a new development base for YOKOHAMA COAST, it will be responsible for creating opportunities for visitors to the Minatomirai area.

YOKOHAMA COAST garage+ (Asביל Basement)

An attractive event space created by renovating the garage of the Yokohama Central Post Office Annex. It hosts real entertainment such as live events, DJ events, club nights, and competitions.

4. Future Outlook

Through the expansion of the YOKOHAMA COAST brand, Mother Entertainment will enable diverse event development and promote improved connectivity and area revitalization from the east exit of Yokohama Station to the Minatomirai area.

We will also strengthen collaboration with regional businesses and content holders, and contribute to continuous excitement by creating Yokohama-specific events and experiential content.

The newly opened "YOKOHAMA COAST REALITY PORT" will be the first step in Mother Entertainment's new initiative to create excitement on the scale of 10 million annual visitors in the area from the east exit of Yokohama Station to the Minatomirai area.
