【PRESS RELEASE】Notice of Company Name Change Due to Transition to New Structure

Prometex Holdings Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Aichi Prefecture, Representative Director: Kenichi Enaka) will change its company name to MED Communications Kitanippon Co., Ltd. on July 1, 2026. As part of the transition to a new structure, we will absorb and merge our subsidiary, Nihon Jutaku Sogo Kaihatsu Co., Ltd., and relocate our headquarters to Tokyo. Furthermore, Prometex Energy Co., Ltd. and Prometex Create Co., Ltd. will be absorbed and merged into MED Engineering Co., Ltd., a MED group company.

【Purpose of Company Name Change】

Prometex Holdings Co., Ltd. became a member of the MED Holdings Co., Ltd. group on July 30, 2025. Following this, each operating company has developed its business by leveraging its respective strengths. Moving forward, we will further strengthen cooperation within the group and aim to maximize synergistic effects by leveraging the group's strengths.

In this reorganization, we will promote brand value enhancement and recognition by unifying group companies under the "MED" brand. We also aim to build a stronger business foundation by centralizing information dissemination, thereby realizing consistent value provision to customers.
