The Anime Run Executive Committee will host 'Anime Run 2026 vol.1' on October 12, 2026 (Mon/Holiday) at Yanmar Stadium Nagai (Higashisumiyoshi-ku, Osaka). This event is a 'cultural dissemination sports event' that combines Japan's world-renowned anime culture with running, and it is supported by the Osaka Prefecture government. Participants are required to dress as Japanese anime characters. It is not just a competitive race or a cosplay exhibition; it is a new sports culture where everyone runs while fully embodying their favorite characters. The event features three categories: 3km, 5km, and 10km. Entries are now being accepted via the running portal site 'RUNNET'.

Prize Money for Top Finishers! Total Prize Pool of 600,000 Yen!!

Categories include 10km, 5km, and 3km. Various participation styles are available, such as individual entries, team relay races, and pair relays. Top finishers in each category will be awarded prize money, with a maximum prize of 100,000 yen. This is the stage to run seriously while fully becoming a Japanese anime character.
