The Anime Data Insight Lab (Representative: Yusuke Onuki), a group analysis organization of Bushiroad Inc. (Headquarters: Nakano-ku, Tokyo, President and CEO: Takaaki Kidani), has conducted a survey on the anime business. This time, we analyzed data from all 81 anime titles in the 2026 winter season, including both TV anime and anime films, to examine which titles continue to maintain viewers' interest and what kind of changes are occurring. Introduction The 2026 winter anime season has entered its final stage. This season is a large-scale one with 69 TV anime titles being broadcast (48 new titles and 21 sequels).

In this article, we analyze which titles continue to grasp the viewers based on data from the final stage spanning up to 11 weeks. Furthermore, as a first-time attempt, we included 12 theatrical anime titles in our analysis.

The reason for adding movies is simple: if you only look at TV anime, you will miss the title most talked about by fans this season. The maximum Fan Score (volume of posts on X) was recorded not by a TV anime but by a movie. Moreover, it was not a theatrical version of an existing IP, but a completely original work. We judged that we cannot talk about 'Winter 2026' while ignoring this fact.

In terms of the maximum Trend Score, 'Jujutsu Kaisen Culling Game Part 1' took 1st place with 100.0. This figure was recorded in the 3rd week, showing an increase even from the initial velocity. The fact that 4 out of the top 10 titles are movies speaks volumes about the presence of theatrical anime this season.
