FDA Announces 'FDA 2027 Calendar Photo Contest'

Fuji Dream Airlines Co., Ltd. (abbreviated as FDA, headquarters: Shizuoka City, Shizuoka Prefecture, President & CEO: Shunsuke Honda) will conduct the 'FDA 2027 Calendar Photo Contest' from Tuesday, June 16, 2026, to Friday, July 10, 2026.

Selected works will be used in FDA's 2027 calendar. The judging panel will include Charlie Furusho, a renowned Japanese aviation photographer.

We welcome submissions from both professional and amateur photographers, including works that capture the natural beauty and local culture of our destinations, as well as vibrant multicolor aircraft images.

■ Photo Contest Overview

【Submission Guidelines】

◎ Submission Period: Must be received between June 16, 2026 (Tue) and July 10, 2026 (Fri)

◎ Entry Requirements: Photos must feature FDA-operated Embraer aircraft and meet at least one of the following three themes:

　① Works that convey the seasons and natural scenery of our destinations

　② Works that highlight the beauty of nature—such as skies, clouds, and light—and the local atmosphere

　③ Works that emphasize the charm of aircraft and FDA’s signature multicolor livery

◎ Shooting Period: Photos must have been taken between January 2024 and a date that ensures timely submission

　※ Only unpublished works are eligible. However, photos previously published on the photographer’s personal website are acceptable. ※ Please clearly indicate the 'shooting date' on the entry form. We may request verification when requesting final data after selection.

◎ Submission Size: A4 (210×297mm)

　※ Submissions in positive/negative film or digital data are not accepted. ※ To accommodate calendar production, please refrain from submitting vertically oriented photos.

◎ Number of Entries: Up to 5 per person

　※ If more than 5 entries are submitted, all entries from that person will be disqualified.

'Charlie FURUSHO' Charlie Furusho

Born in Tokyo in 1972, a specialist aviation photographer focusing on passenger aircraft.

Has traveled to over 100 countries and regions worldwide on commission from airlines and airports to capture aviation photography.

Visited more than 500 airports globally. Holds the Guinness World Record for flying with the most airlines.

Author of over 30 books and photo collections related to commercial aviation. Has served as the official photographer for VIP aircraft at international summits.

Holds pilot licenses for both airplanes and helicopters, and owns a helicopter dedicated to aerial photography.
