FirstSeed, Inc. has launched 'FirstSeed Note 2,' a note-taking app equipped with an AI agent. The new app features an AI assistant that helps users organize, utilize, and review their notes, along with support for attachments, mathematical formulas, and handwriting via Apple Pencil, enabling rich note creation beyond plain text. It also includes a powerful quick-access feature that allows users to create new notes or summon the AI agent by voice the moment an idea strikes.

A New Note-Taking Experience with AI Agent

The AI agent allows users to request tasks such as brainstorming, proofreading, summarizing notes, and organizing information using natural language. For example, it can summarize meeting notes, rewrite long texts into more readable formats, or consolidate relevant information from multiple notes.

Create and Edit Notes by Voice the Moment You Think of It

The app now supports a quick-access feature accessible by long-pressing the app icon, enabling fast execution of actions like creating a new note or launching the AI agent.

For instance, while out and about, simply say, 'Add milk to the shopping list,' and the AI agent will locate the relevant note and update its content—no need to open the app or search for the note manually.

The AI agent continues processing in the background and notifies the user upon completion. This allows users to record and organize thoughts instantly, even while moving or working on other tasks.

Assisting in Organization, Utilization, and Reflection

The AI agent in FirstSeed Note 2 deeply understands the app's internal structure (notebooks, sections, tags) and is designed for practical use by automatically moving and managing notes on behalf of the user.

Tasks such as 'Tag last week’s meeting notes as “Important”' or 'Compile all travel plan notes together' are supported by AI, helping users locate and organize stored information effortlessly.

Additionally, by asking, 'Summarize my recent reading notes and share key insights,' the AI can unearth buried past records, supporting reflection and personal growth.

Support for Attachments, Handwriting, and Mathematical Formulas

This update enables users to consolidate a wider range of information into a single note.

Users can now save attachments such as PDFs and images directly within notes. On iPad, handwriting input using Apple Pencil is also supported, making it ideal for creating idea sketches or study notes with diagrams.

Furthermore, LaTeX-formatted equation input is now supported, making the app suitable for technical and academic use by students, researchers, and engineers.
