This initiative aims to support individuals in Kashiwanoha Smart City who have left or paused their careers due to childcare or family responsibilities, by integrating local communities, businesses, and technology to facilitate their return to work. By leveraging the urban OS 'Smart Life Pass,' the program will provide comprehensive, personalized support tailored to each resident's lifestyle and aspirations—from pre-employment information and career counseling to job matching and employment opportunities. The goal is to lower barriers for parenting households who wish to work but hesitate to take the first step, thereby realizing diverse and sustainable workstyles within the community.

Overview of the Initiative

B-Style Smart Career and B-Style Media, through the 'Shufu JOB Soken' research institute (operated by B-Style Holdings Co., Ltd.), which investigates the realities and true sentiments of homemakers seeking work-life balance, conducted a survey on 'Barriers to Starting Work.' The results revealed that 60% of respondents feel there are too few job openings matching their desired conditions. Additionally, while homemakers seek flexible work arrangements, they often lack sufficient access to relevant information and options.

B-Style Smart Career, B-Style Media, and UDCK Town Management have formed a business alliance to fully launch reemployment support services aimed at enriching workstyles for parenting households. UDCK Town Management will utilize the Kashiwanoha Smart City site through Mitsui Fudosan and leverage the already-operational resident portal 'Smart Life Pass'.
