Experience an Interrogation by the 'Regent Detective'!

Punctual Inc., which manages hometown tax (furusato nozei) operations for municipalities nationwide, has collaborated with Kawashima Egao Club LLC, a group working on regional revitalization in Kawashima-cho, Yoshinogawa City, Tokushima Prefecture, to offer an 'interrogation experience' by former police detective Hiroyasu Akiyama, known as the 'Regent Detective,' as a hometown tax return gift. Recruitment began on the 15th of this month. Applicants take on the role of a suspect and undergo a powerful interrogation by Akiyama. Some people have already signed up. The experience will be held from November 7-9 and November 24-26. The project was realized after Kawashima Egao Club consulted Punctual about commercializing local experiential content, and Punctual provided advice to ensure it met the criteria for local products. Assuming the applicant committed a crime such as dine-and-dash, fraud, or shoplifting, they will be interrogated one-on-one by Akiyama in a 'mock interrogation room' built inside the Kawashima Egao Club office. Custom requests can be added within reason. Applications are available via 'Furusato Choice,' and a donation of 150,000 yen or more is required.
