[Shimane Susanoo Magic] Loan Transfer Agreement with Shota Arai (#5)

Thank you for your continued support of the Shimane Susanoo Magic. We are pleased to announce that Shota Arai, whose term as a specially designated player ends on June 30, will continue to join the Shimane Susanoo Magic on a loan transfer, following his agreement with Yokohama Excellence for the 2026-27 season. Arai was born on March 2, 2004, and is from Tokyo. He is 172cm tall, weighs 72kg, and plays as a PG. After playing for Jissen Gakuen High School and Aoyama Gakuin University, he had been playing for Shimane as a specially designated player since February 2026. Arai commented, 'I am very happy to start my professional career with the Shimane Susanoo Magic! I will work proactively on everything like a rookie and do my best to contribute to the team's victory!' GM Hirose explained, 'Arai is a draft-eligible player. Shimane decided not to select him in the January draft, but due to injuries among our guards, he joined us as a specially designated player. To have him play next season, we consulted with Yokohama Excellence and reached an agreement on a loan transfer.'
