PAIKAJI COFFEE, a coffee brand born from the Okinawan aloha shirt brand "PAIKAJI," is set to launch a new product, bottled straight iced coffee, in mid-June 2026.

This product is a 500ml straight type that can be enjoyed as is by simply pouring it into a glass. The coffee used is "Ashenafi Nega Dega Natural," produced in the Alicha village of the Gedio region in Ethiopia's Yirgacheffe. It boasts a gorgeous fruity flavor reminiscent of blueberries, with a refreshing sweetness like cinnamon. When enjoyed cold, delicate lingering notes of apple and black tea can also be perceived.

The packaging features a design symbolizing the world of PAIKAJI COFFEE, depicting tropical plants and vibrant birds. Combined with the black bottle, it creates a luxurious yet distinctly Okinawan sense of openness.

We plan to gradually expand sales channels, targeting hotel gift shops, resort facilities, and specialty gift stores.

While it can be enjoyed black, pouring it over plenty of ice transforms it into a refreshing beverage perfect for resort settings.

About the Beans Used

We use "Ashenafi Nega Dega Natural," cultivated in the highlands of Ethiopia's Yirgacheffe. The production area, Alicha village, is located in the Gedio region, one of the areas exceeding 2,000 meters in altitude. Situated in the mountains about 6 km east of the town of Yirgacheffe, it is surrounded by native trees such as Acacia, Afrocordia, Fig, and Ensete.

Many farms cultivate semi-forest coffee using native trees as shade trees, and mangoes, bananas, avocados, and corn are also produced in the vicinity.

Producer Ashenafi invests his personal funds in supporting local farmers and developing infrastructure, dedicating himself to sustainable coffee production. By managing everything from cherry procurement to shipment in-house, he ensures a stable supply of high-quality coffee.
